Vic: Glenelg bushfire engulfs 1,300 ha

Firefighters say a bushfire which forced the evacuation of 200 campers from the Glenelg
National Park on Victoria's border with South Australia is continuing to blaze out of
control.

A spokeswoman for the Victorian Department of Natural Resources says the fire has engulfed
1,300 hectares of pine plantation and national park by late tonight.

She says 160 firefighters would battle the blaze through the night and additional firecrews
were being summoned from around the state to relieve them.
